Pilot Training in Dwarka

Ground classes from Sector 7 — and the part nobody tells a Delhi student: most of the DGCA process is already in this city.

DGCA details checked on 15 September 2026 against the Pariksha portal, the medical CAR and DGCA’s centre list. Every figure is sourced below.

Quick Answer

Is there a pilot training institute in Dwarka, and what can you do from here?

We One Aviation Academy has run DGCA ground classes from New Delhi's Sector 7 since 2009. Being in Delhi is a practical advantage rather than a slogan: the Central Examination Organisation that issues computer numbers and hears appeals is at R.K. Puram, four of DGCA's 13 approved medical centres are in Delhi and the NCR, and the equivalence body for international-board candidates is on Kotla Marg. The flying hours are the one part that happens elsewhere.

Dwarka, in short

  • Address: C-404, 3rd Floor, Ramphal Chowk, Block C, Palam Extension, Sector-7, Dwarka, New Delhi 110077
  • Phone +91-9667370747 · info.weoneaviation@gmail.com · running since 2009
  • Taught here: the 5 DGCA written papers, each needing 70%
  • Classroom batches run in Dwarka; students elsewhere join online batches
  • DGCA's Central Examination Organisation: East Block III, Level III, Rama Krishna Puram, New Delhi 110066
  • 4 of DGCA's 13 approved medical centres are in Delhi and the NCR
  • Flight training happens at partner flying schools, not in Dwarka

Three DGCA institutions already in your city

This is the part that actually matters about training from Delhi, and no competing page mentions it. Much of the machinery a student has to deal with is not in some other state — it is a metro ride away.

The Central Examination Organisation of DGCA

East Block III, Level III, Rama Krishna Puram, New Delhi 110066

This is where a computer number application is scrutinised, where an original Board Verification Certificate addressed to CEO has to be on file for your application to proceed, and where a complete rejection can be appealed — by email to ceo.dgca@nic.in, by post, or in person on Tuesday and Thursday, 3 PM to 5 PM.

DGCA-approved aeromedical centres

Air Force Central Medical Establishment (AFCME), New Delhi · Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi · Max Multi Specialty Centre, New Delhi · Medanta — The Medicity, Gurugram, Haryana

Four of the 13 centres on DGCA's list are in Delhi and the NCR, so neither the Class 2 you need to start nor the Class 1 the Commercial Pilot Licence requires means travelling. DGCA updates this list. Check the current version before travelling to a centre.

The Association of Indian Universities

AIU House, 16 Kotla Marg, New Delhi 110022

When the basic qualification comes from an international school, board or university. A diploma holder obtains the 10+2 equivalence certificate from the relevant State Directorate of Technical Education, not from AIU.

The practical effect: a Dwarka student can get a computer number, sit the written papers, clear the medical and, if it ever comes to it, appeal a rejection in person — all without booking a train. The flying hours are the exception, and they are the reason a flying school sits outside the city.

What is actually taught here

The 5 DGCA written papers: Air Navigation, Aviation Meteorology, Air Regulations, Technical General and Technical Specific. Examined separately from the DGCA written papers, and required for CPL issue under Section J paragraph 1(g). Each paper carries its own 70% threshold rather than an aggregate, so a strong paper does not carry a weak one.

Being straight about the boundaries, because it is the thing most worth knowing before you choose any academy: We teach the DGCA ground subjects and arrange flight training with partner flying schools. We do not own aircraft or simulators, we do not employ pilots, and we do not place students into airline jobs — hiring decisions rest with the operator.

The syllabus for each paper, and the study material DGCA itself names, are on our syllabus page. Subject by subject: Air Navigation, Aviation Meteorology, Air Regulations, Technical General and RTR (A).

The order to do things in, from Delhi

  1. 1Confirm the education gate. Class 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics from a recognised Board or University. If you did not take both subjects, the bridge route adds time and belongs at the front of your plan.
  2. 2Book the medical at one of the Delhi or NCR centres. Book the medical before committing money to a flying school. A student pilot licence needs a Class 2, but the licence you are training towards needs a Class 1 — and finding a disqualifying condition after paying a deposit is an expensive way to learn it.
  3. 3Apply for a computer number — online, from age 16, no medical certificate needed. Through DigiLocker it is allotted immediately; the manual route takes 15 working days.
  4. 4Start the written papers at ₹2,500 each, in any of the 4 regular sessions or 8 on-demand sessions a year.
  5. 5Fly the hours at a flying school. This is the part that happens outside Delhi, and the part with the real cost attached.

The full version, with the rule behind every stage, is on our route guide, and every eligibility requirement is set out on the CPL eligibility page. For Delhi more broadly rather than Dwarka specifically, see pilot training in Delhi.
